This workforce training program includes approximately 130–160 contact hours and prepares participants for the MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification. Students complete four instructional areas: Safety, Quality Practices & Measurement, Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Maintenance Awareness. Through classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and simulations, participants develop the technical skills needed for entry-level manufacturing careers.

Exam Requirements
Participants must demonstrate competency in all required manufacturing skills and successfully pass the four MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT) module exams: Safety, Quality Practices & Measurement, Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Maintenance Awareness. Each multiple-choice exam is 1–2 hours in length and requires a minimum passing score of 75% to earn the MSSC CPT certification.
