The mission of the HDSP graduate program in the FCS Department is to facilitate healthy human development and well-being by drawing from multidisciplinary research. Humans learn and develop over the life course within families and larger contexts, including communities, schools, workplaces, and other settings. Understanding these developmental processes requires many disciplinary perspectives, including but not limited to economics, sociology, psychology, health sciences, and political science.
