The Earth and Environmental Science major will prepare students to be leaders across a wide range of fields in the private and public sectors to help tackle major societal and environmental challenges in the 21st century. The major will train them in complex systems analysis, calculus-based quantitative reasoning and thinking, and provide them with a detailed understanding of land, atmosphere, water, and ecosystems.
