World Language Proficiency

The certificate in World Language Proficiency is issued based on language proficiency level on the ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) proficiency scale, rather than exclusively on the course credit hours. Students may apply for the Certificate in World Language Proficiency after completing the second year courses in a world language.
