The Epidemiology PhD program trains students to use rigorous quantitative methods to build evidence for public health and clinical care. Training covers descriptive methods to examine public health trends; theories of causal inference; study design and implementation; statistical methods for estimating exposure–outcome associations; and interpretation of research results. The School of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
