Chinese Language Advanced-Level

The purpose of the Certificate is to recognize students who have reached an advanced level of proficiency in Modern Standard Chinese (ACTFL Advanced, ILR 2), along with training in literary Chinese and cultural literacy. Designated as a "tier four" language by the Foreign Service Institute, Chinese is acknowledged as one of the most difficult languages to master.
