University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
The Applied Economics MS program prepares students for careers in both public and private sectors as well as further graduate study. All students are required to complete a semester-long mathematical treatment of optimization theories and economic models that emphasize cost-benefit analysis. In addition, students will be trained in the statistical economic (econometric) models that are used to evaluate and quantify theoretical relationships and forecast counterfactual economic outcomes.
