Modern agriculture demands skilled technicians who understand the complex designs and applications of power machinery. The Agricultural Mechanics certificate prepares students in component and system knowledge along with service techniques of tractors and associated agriculture machinery. Students develop basic working skills in the mechanics of gas and diesel power units, hydraulics, electrical, diesel and gas engines, and mobile air conditioning as they pertain to modern agriculture equipment.
