Agricultural Business or “agribusiness” encompasses a wide range of functions required for successful modern agriculture. These functions include providing supplies and services to farmers, actual on-farm production of food and fiber, and processing and distributing products for consumers in the United States and beyond. Food, which is undoubtedly the most basic of necessities, is an extremely important industry, offering a tremendous variety of rewarding careers.
