Medical Assisting

The Skills Certificate in Medical Assisting is an online program with four hours a week in a lab or clinical setting on-ground. The program provides theory, laboratory practice, and clinical application to meet student-learning outcomes. Students are introduced to diverse opportunities in medical assisting to achieve entry–level performance as a medical assistant. Students will be cross-trained in administrative and clinical skills, as well as patient privacy, sensitivity and empathy.
