Medical Assisting

The Medical Assisting Certificate is a closed apprenticeship program designed to fulfill the workforce development needs of health care providers in southern and mid-coast Maine. Students must be qualified employees of a partner health care provider in order to be eligible for the program. This one year course of study has a blend of on-campus, online, and hybrid courses mixed with a 20 hour per week apprenticeship experience at a health care provider.
