The Certificate of Achievement in American Sign Language (ASL) promotes fluency in ASL and an understanding of ASL culture. This is an eighteen unit program of study of a second language and its culture that prepares students to interact appropriately with Deaf persons in a variety of settings, including education, retail, medicine, entertainment, and community services.
