The World Languages Department offers a Spanish major leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree. Forty credit hours of courses in Spanish above the 100-level are required, including a capstone seminar, a civilization and culture course, and a grammar or written expression course. The university-wide internship requirement may be in an environment related to Spanish and may contribute up to six credits toward the major.
