Practical Nursing

Includes theoretical instruction and clinical experience in medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and geriatric nursing across acute and long-term care settings, plus nutrition, human growth and development, pharmacology, medications, and legal aspects of the profession. Approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing, the program prepares students for employment as Licensed Practical Nurses and requires passing the NCLEX-PN examination.
