The addiction studies certificate is designed to provide students with the required knowledge and skills need to pursue employment in the field of substance abuse and addiction, as well as the Certified Addiction and Drug Counselor license for the State of Michigan. Students will complete 12 credits related to substance abuse and treatment and 9 credits in 78 Nursing mental health related courses which will enhance their experience and competence in the area of addiction.
