Guiding and Supporting Children
Northwood Technical College
Students in this essential field receive training in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for children of all developmental levels and needs; using positive guidance techniques to manage an early childhood classroom; and working with families to provide a link between the center and the home. This pathway certificate was developed with two courses from the Wisconsin Technical College System statewide curriculum for the associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
