This 40-credit diploma prepares graduates for a career in medical coding or to advance their studies with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in medical coding. The NTC Medical Coding programs use the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) curriculum to provide training to prepare the student to take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam using nationally recognized coding systems to classify procedures and diagnoses related to medical treatment.
