Northeast Community College
To become a secondary teacher, students may complete a two-year liberal arts program at Northeast and then transfer credits to a four-year college offering the bachelor’s degree in teacher education. Teacher education students take three types of courses at Northeast Community College. General courses are required of all associate of arts degree candidates and promote general knowledge. Subject courses help students learn the subjects they will be teaching.
