The purpose of the Health Science certificate is to give students a background in biology, chemistry, health, English, and math courses. This will prepare them for further study in fields such as nursing and radiologic technology. It could also prepare students for entry-level health related jobs such as ER admit clerk, ward clerk, or clinical receptionist. It can be completed in one year of full-time study.
