Heavy Equipment Operations (CAS)
New River Community and Technical College
This Certificate of Applied Science program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Students will gain hands-on experience with dozers, skid steers, mini excavators, and backhoes, preparing them for careers in construction, excavation and site development. As an additional part of the program, students also complete CDL Training, enabling them to earn their CDL.
