The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Business: Accounting is career oriented and designed to provide academic training for entry-level accounting positions. Students learn to perform such duties as maintaining journals and ledgers, preparing financial statements and special reports, conducting financial analyses, preparing cost data, and summarizing financial information. Positions in general accounting, auditing, payroll, and credit are in great demand in today's workforce.
