Art History
New College of Florida
The Art History AOC studies the ways in which artworks and artifacts shape and are shaped by their historical contexts, developing students' skills in visual and verbal analysis. Emphasizing chronological breadth, thematic focus, critical theory and method, foreign language study, and internship experience, it prepares students for careers in education, arts administration, library and information science, law, business, and the foreign service.
