Animal Wellbeing and Conservation

The AOC in Animal Wellbeing and Conservation is designed for students wishing to acquire skills for meaningful work with animals or animal research, incorporating theory and practice to learn about animals' biological and psychological worlds and humans' responsibilities toward other species. Graduates may pursue veterinary, medical, or graduate school, or careers as animal trainers, lab technicians, zoo or aquarium managers, or natural resource officers.
