Qualified students may apply to major or minor in Spanish at any time, completing coursework in writing, speaking, linguistics, culture and literature, and civic engagement. Students in the general program must maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 and a 2.5 GPA in Spanish courses for the major. Students are required to study or work for at least two weeks in a Spanish-speaking country.
