Morris College
This major prepares candidates to teach biology at the secondary level by meeting the CAEP/NSTA standards. Students complete 24 hours of major courses, 11 hours of other required courses, 33 hours of professional education including observation and directed teaching, and six hours of electives in addition to General Education. Graduates are prepared for the PRAXIS II Examination and secondary-level biology teaching.
