This program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to perform patient assessment and to recommend, deliver, monitor and evaluate therapeutic/diagnostic respiratory care services. The A.A.S degree involves four semesters of entry and advanced level coursework, plus a five-week summer session. A.A.S graduates are eligible to take a series of national examinations that lead to the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
