Four-year college graduates in the field of forestry are responsible for the management of approximately one-third of the land area of the United States. The educational program in the School of Natural Resources (University of Minnesota) prepares the student in forest resource development and forest science curricula in the art, science and business of managing forest lands for all their products (timber, water, wildlife, grazing, and recreation).
