The Nursing curriculum is designed to prepare competent as- sociate degree nurses who are eligible to meet licensing require- ments for registered nurses and are able to practice nursing in acute care, long-term care, homes, clinics, physician’s offices, or other agencies established to meet the health care needs of individuals. As content and skills build within the nursing curriculum, nursing courses must be taken in the sequence listed in order to receive an A.A.S. Degree in Nursing.
