Luzerne County Community College
The AS in Education is designed to provide an excellent foun- dation of knowledge, skills and dispositions for students preparing to major in education at the Middle Level (grades 4-8) or Second- ary Level (grades 7-12). In addition to a coherent sequence of education courses, the education curriculum provides students with the opportunity to complete general education courses and electives required for transfer to four-year institutions to earn bachelor’s degrees in education.
