The General Science degree program is intended for the student who desires a degree in Science but desires more latitude in the selection of courses. It is well suited to fill the needs of students who want flexibility in their preparation for upper division studies at the university level. For this purpose, however, proper selection of courses is of upmost importance, and advisement from the STEM Department should be sought.
