The Health Sciences Major prepares students for graduate work in health professions such as Nursing, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Genetic Counseling, Physician Assistant, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, and Public Health. Health Sciences majors take courses to prepare them for careers in health care from both the scientific and psychosocial perspectives, with elective courses selected based on their intended profession.
