Automation Engineering

The purpose of the Automation Engineering program is to prepare individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills to support engineers engaged in a wide variety of projects. Includes instruction in various engineering support functions for research, production and operations, and applications to specific engineering specialties. The Automation Engineering program concentrates on product design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
