The History Major cultivates a critical understanding of the human past and develops skills of historical research, analysis, and communication that enable students to engage the world in which they serve in a thoughtful, positive, and creative manner. Graduates may pursue careers as communicators, educators, researchers, writers, and public historians, and will be prepared for graduate school in history, law, or intercultural studies.
