Technical Studies: Residential Care Specialist, Special Needs Children
Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College
Eastern, in partnership with the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB), developed a comprehensive training program for individuals employed as Residential Care Providers (RCP). The program blends traditional academic learner outcomes with employer job skill requirements to provide a pathway to a Residential Care Provider Specialist Certificate and ultimately a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Technical Studies. Enrollment is restricted to WVSDB employees.
