The B.S. Mathematics program of study is intended for students who are deeply interested in mathematics and wish to pursue a career in a mathematical field or in graduate study. The program emphasizes problem solving and analysis, critical thinking, and logical argument. Students in this program will take courses in proof writing, geometry, abstract algebra, real analysis, probability, and statistics as well as other elective math courses.
