The ASL/English Interpreting Program prepares our students to become interpreting professionals who 1. are critical thinkers 2. can apply ethical standards 3. demonstrate cultural and linguistic competencies in ASL and English 4. are life-long learners, incorporate best practices 5. embrace cultural diversity when serving and promoting social justice for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, hearing, and DeafBlind in educational and community settings.
