Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant program prepares students for employment as medical assistants. Courses will include best practices and theory, laboratory instruction, and a real-world supervised externship in physician’s offices, healthcare clinics, and hospitals. The role of the medical assistant is to assist the physician and other professionals in managing the care of clients.
