Psychology is the science of behavior and mental processes. The psychology major provides students with a broad foundation in current psychology including the methodologies, problems, bodies of knowledge and perspectives. Senior psychology majors are required to design and implement an original research project in a selected area of psychological inquiry. In addition, seniors are required to complete an internship offered in a variety of diverse settings.
