Patient Care Technician Short-Term Technical Certificate

Patient care technicians are allied health professionsals who provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a nurse. In addition to providing the direct patient care activities of the nurse aide/nursing assistant, patient care technicians are also prepared to perform electrocardiogram (ECG) and phlebotomy tasks. All courses may be applied to the Multi-Skilled Healthcare one-year certificate and Associate of Technical Studies- Multi-skilled Healthcare degree programs.
