Laser Additive Short-Term Technical Certificate

Additive manufacturing is becoming more prevalent due to its capability to save time and money in numerous ways. Within industry, two laser additive methods are primarily used: stereolithography and laser powder bed fusion. Students will acquire laser additive manufacturing skills while also utilize CAD and g-code, parallel to Laser Machining/Welding. Technicians are required to employ practical skills to manufacture parts in accordance with project guidelines, just as industry would require.
