The Master of Arts in Teaching provides state-approved teacher education programs leading to initial licensure in Hawai'i in five areas: Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, Prekindergarten to Kindergarten (PK-K), and Prekindergarten to Grade 3 (PK-3).
