The student will apply the elements and principles of design to select, adapt, and execute hairstyles that are desirable to the client. Topics also include the application of chemical treatments, texturing, extensions, and examining how various hair types respond to styling practices. Completion of the program prepares the student to take the licensure exam from the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology. Completion of this program does not guarantee licensure.
