Aviation Maintenance Technology

Computer Aided Design Technology

The purpose of this program is to develop a computer-aided design (CAD) technologist proficient with design practices from concept to completion. Students will gain a wide range of competencies including basic sketching; two-dimensional manual drawing techniques; drafting standards; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; and advanced three-dimensional parametric modeling, all while using state of the art computer-aided design software and project-based additive manufacturing with 3D printers.

Direct Support Professional

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, And Refrigeration

This program is designed for the student to learn the fundamentals of how the electrical circuit and components work, how the refrigerant circuit and its components work and how the airflow in a HVAC system works. The student will learn how to measure and troubleshoot airflow problems and correct them. More importantly, the student will learn how to diagnose the electrical circuit using the correct techniques and tools.

Industrial Maintenance Automation

This program is designed to prepare students to enter the Industrial Maintenance field in an entry-level position and to enhance the skills of students already employed in the field. The program provides instruction to develop the skills needed to succeed in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment in industrial environment.

Information Technology And Infrastructure Management

This program is crafted to encompass a blend of simulated job scenarios and live projects, aimed at offering students a genuine hands-on learning environment. Students will acquire first-hand familiarity with software, hardware, and the operational aspects of computers, network devices, wireless technologies, and other cutting-edge technology prevalent in today's industries.

Machine Tool Technology

This program is designed to give practical experience on lathes, grinders, vertical and horizontal mills, as well as hand tools and bench work. Students in the advancement phases of the program will receive instruction and perform practical exercises on computer numerically controlled equipment. A variety of work projects give the students actual experience in the fabrication of usable tools and parts from metal and machinable plastics.

Practical Nursing

This program is designed to give the student both theory and clinical experience in the nursing field in order to meet criteria to pass the National Council License Exam (NCLEX) and practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Upon completion of the course, the graduate will be able to understand the role of the practical nurse on the nursing team, practice nursing safely and understand related information.

This program is designed for today's technicians requiring a broad base of information. The program furnishes the basic theories, principles, practices, experiments, and real work experience needed to solve every day problems encountered by electrical technicians in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and operation of electrical equipment. Broad Units of Study include Tools & Their Use, Basic Electricity, Electric Motors & Controls and Troubleshooting.

Truck Driving

This program is designed to provide classroom work, yard and road driving experiences. Students are taught to drive defensively and gain the knowledge necessary to operate the vehicle as well as abide by all local, state and federal regulations. Students will be prepared for both the written and skills portions of the commercial driver's license (CDL) examination.

Welding Technology

The mission of the Welding program is to provide the student training in all phases of welding in the ever changing technological work place. Students master the basic welding techniques for both acetylene and arc welding. Individuals study the physical properties of metal, the effects of heat, thickness allowances, shrinkage, basic joint design and layout.
