The Allied Health and Medical Assisting program is a six-month certificate program, which consists of a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences. These experiences expose the student to the wide variety of tasks and responsibilities required of today's Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician and Medical Assistant.

CertificateBuilding Construction Technology
The Building Construction Technology Program provides the student with the fundamentals of carpentry, residential electrical wiring, residential plumbing, and block and brick laying. Instruction methods include classroom lecture, audio-visuals and extensive live work projects on actual construction projects.
DiplomaComputer Information Technology
Computer Information Technology (CIT) is the heart of most businesses and industries in today's workforce. This program offers two curriculum options covering several certificate levels and a total of two diploma areas. Individuals interested in industry recognized certifications such a CompTIA's A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft's MCTS and MCITP, can enter the CIT path.
DiplomaCosmetology
A cosmetologist performs, for compensation, arranging, dressing, curling, waving, cleansing, cutting, singeing, bleaching, coloring, or similar work on the hair. A cosmetologist may care for or service wigs or hair pieces; manicure, massage, clean, stimulate, manipulate, exercise, beautify, or perform similar work upon the hands, arms, face, neck, or feet. Students enrolled in the course will be required to complete 1,500 hours in practice and theory.

DiplomaCriminal Justice: Correctional Officer
The Criminal Justice: Correctional Officer program is designed to equip jailers and guards with knowledge and understanding of inmate processing, maintaining order in the jail, and invoking disciplinary measures when necessary. Jailers may also perform cell searches for drugs and contraband, inspect the facility for cleanliness, and stand guard during exercise periods.

The Culinary Arts program is designed to train students to become Food Service Professionals. The class will cover topics such as Proper Sanitation practices, customer service basics, food handling, Menu preparation, and food production techniques. This class will prepare the student to earn a ServSafe Certification which is required in the food industry.

The Diesel-Powered Equipment Technology program provides practical experience in the repair and maintenance of engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, clutch and transmissions, hydraulics, drivelines and axles, frame and suspension systems, steering systems, brake systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

The Emergency Medical Technology Program is designed to provide basic and advanced training for emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. Emergency Medical Technicians function as a part of a comprehensive Emergency Medical System response, under medical oversight.

DiplomaIndustrial Maintenance/Mechatronics
The Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics Technology Program (IMM) is designed and managed to produce highly skilled individuals in the areas of mechanical and electrical industrial machinery repair. The program consists of Mechanical Training, to include numerous types of power transmission techniques, belt drive systems, chain drives, alignment methods, and also coupling methods.
DiplomaMachine Tool Technology
The Machine Tool Technology course is designed to develop skills in machine tool operation and to give students experience on a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and computer numerical control machines. Instruction is given in related mathematics, blueprint reading, precision measuring, basic metallurgy, and heat treating of metals.
DiplomaNursing Aide
The adult Nursing Aide program trains students to provide direct care to patient under direction of nursing staff. Certified Nursing Assistants perform duties that include feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and/or moving patients. The program will consist of 80 hours of classroom training and 40 hours of clinical training for a total of 120 clock hours.

The Power Line Construction and Maintenance program is a six-month pre-apprenticeship program that includes a CDL component, OSHA10, CPR, and flagging training as part of the class. This program prepares students to work in the electric utility industry as electrical linemen.

This twelve-month course leads to a satisfying and well-paying career in the health care field. The practical nurse works with the registered nurse and doctor in caring for the sick or injured. The course combines classroom instruction with clinical experience.
DiplomaTelecommunications And Underground Utility Construction Technology
This program consists of classroom, laboratory and training on the use of equipment used to install broadband and underground utilities such as sewer, water, and gas lines.

The Truck Driving Program prepares individuals to build skills in safety practices, operation, vehicle maintenance, and non-vehicle activities associated with truck driving. Instruction includes the operation of vehicles on the interstate, on two-lane highways, in the city, backing and maneuvering.
