The Administrative Office Technology Program is designed to develop the skills necessary for success in today's computerized office by providing technical instruction and skill development needed for a variety of careers in: medical, business, marketing, legal, or accounting administrative assisting. This program provides essential training in: business office procedures, customer service skills, business communications, Microsoft computer skills, and employability skills.
DiplomaAutomotive Technology
The aim of this program is to provide trainees with a thorough understanding of the methods of servicing and repairing automotive vehicles. Trainees are taught to use the proper factory-approved methods of servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Training includes learning to make proper diagnosis using test equipment, hand tools, special equipment, precision measuring tools, and service manuals and specifications.

The Building Construction Technology program provides the student with the fundamentals of carpentry, residential electrical wiring, residential plumbing, and block and brick laying. Instruction methods include classroom lecture, audio-visuals, and extensive live work projects on actual construction projects.

Personal beauty service is recognized as a necessity by most people today, and performance of this service can be satisfactory rendered only by operators who possess the skills and knowledge of the trade and who are adept at social courtesies. A state license is required for the practice of beauty culture, and a formal examination must be passed before this license can be obtained.
DiplomaCriminal Justice: Correctional Officer
The Criminal Justice curriculum contains a broad range of courses design to equip jailers and guards with the knowledge and understanding of inmate processing, maintaining order in the jail and invoking disciplinary measures when necessary. In addition, a jailer may also perform cell searches for drugs and other contraband, inspect the facility for cleanliness and stand guard during exercise periods.
CertificateEmergency Medical Technology
The Emergency Medical Technology Program is designed to provide basic and advanced training for emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. Emergency Medical Technicians function as a part of a comprehensive Emergency Medical System response, under medical oversight. CertificateHeating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, And Refrigeration Technology
The HVAC & R program is an individual program that prepares students to work in a variety of jobs in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration. Students are prepared to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial refrigeration; air conditioning; heat pumps; humidifiers; and electrical and gas heating. Students also learn the fundamentals of electricity, electric motors, and controls.
DiplomaMachine Tool Technology
The work of machine tool operators, machinists, tool and die makers, industrial maintenance personnel and those in related occupations requires skill in machining metal by such machine tools as milling machines, lathes, grinders, drill presses, CNC milling machines, EDM machines and the ability to use precision measuring tools. The course in machine shop is designed to give students experience on a variety of machine tools similar to those on which they will work after graduation.
DiplomaNursing Aide
This program trains students to provide direct care to patient under direction of nursing staff. Certified Nursing Assistants perform duties that include feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and/or moving patients. Employment opportunities for nursing care attendants, nursing aides, or nursing attendants include assisted living, home health, long-term health care facilities, hospitals, and hospice.
CertificatePharmacy Technology
This one-year program will prepare students to work as pharmacy technicians in wholesale or retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, hospitals or other healthcare settings. Classroom instruction includes pharmacy practice, pharmacy math, pharmacology, top drugs, law, ethics, & HIPAA, third-party reimbursement, keyboarding and career readiness. Supervised clinical training is also provided.

DiplomaPractical Nursing
The student practical nurse studies basic nursing skills and such related subjects as body structure and function in wellness and illness, nutrition, pharmacology, obstetrics, and psychology. The clinical experience provides supervised nursing care of medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric patients. Both classroom work and clinical experiences are such that upon completion of the course, the graduate is eligible for written examination by the State Board of Nursing.

Electricity plays an essential part in how we live our lives. Having quality trained people for the construction and repair of electrical systems and equipment is extremely important. At TCAT Jacksboro our students are well trained in electrical theory. This lays a solid foundation for a long and successful career as an electrician. They are then instructed in the use and understanding of the National Electric Code book for proper residential, and commercial and industrial installations.

Graduates of the Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Technology program will have the essential skills needed to enjoy a career in the vacationing and tourism industry and have the potential to earn 13 industry certifications.
DiplomaWelding Technology
Students will learn the various basic and advanced welding/pipefitting techniques that are common in the industries: Shielded Metal, Gas Metal, Gas Tungsten and Flux Cored Arc Welding, cutting techniques, grinding, metal preparation, symbols and blueprint reading, metallurgy, layout, fabrication, pipe/valves/fitting installation, power tools, and measurement techniques. Day Class Schedule: 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Diploma
