Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Arts is a 120-hour undergraduate degree program. Students in the program study Christianity and God's mission from a theological, historical, and systematic perspective. Students are mentored in the study of texts as well as the practice of leadership and faith. To graduate, the student must complete at least 33 of the 120 hours at HCU, with at least 12 of those hours in the division of Biblical and Theological Studies.

Biblical Studies

The Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies is a 60-hour undergraduate program of study that emphasizes general education and provides a beginning foundation in biblical, theological, and ministerial studies. To graduate, the student must complete at least 18 of the 60 hours at HCU, with at least 6 of those hours in the division of Biblical and Theological Studies.

Graduate School of Theology

The Master of Arts in Christian Scripture is a 43-semester hour degree that enables students to read and interpret the Bible in the original languages of the texts. Our faculty educates students to engage scripture responsibly and interact thoughtfully with biblical scholarship, resulting not only in a deeper appreciation for the Bible, but also in spiritual growth and increased ability to communicate the gospel effectively.
