Health Care Policy For Rural And Medically Underserved Populations

The purpose of this course is to explore the policy environment that influences and shapes public health and health care service delivery, including rural and medically underserved communities. Students will develop skills, techniques, and approaches to identify gaps, critically analyze and research health related issues. Utilization and delivery of data to promote and impact healthcare policy changes will be an important measure of outcome.
