Britain and the Third World

This course examines the relations between Great Britain, the modern world¿s first superpower and non-European peoples all over the world. In addition to examining issues of Empire, the course stresses the cultural interactions that were critical in the development of the modern world and the problems and opportunities of multi-ethnic societies.
