Intro to Integrated Care Counseling

Integrated care capitalizes on the combined expertise of mental health and primary care providers working together within a single treatment setting to more effectively address the physical health problems of individuals suffering from mental illness. Within these settings mental health counselors work collaboratively with health care professionals to design and implement comprehensive biopsychosocial treatment plans.
