Young Children and Their Literature

Literature for children infancy through third grade; selection, use, and integration of literature in total curriculum. Using literature for reading and writing instruction. Field experiences required. ECE 633. Social and Emotional Development of the Young Child. 3 Hours. Topics include the study of social and emotional development, the child's ability to react to and interact with the social environment, temperament, attachment, emotional regulation, and social competence.
